Breaching Whales 17 July, 2009   3 comments

A beautiful day was had on the water today. Only 2.7 nautical miles off the seaway we found our first whale and it wasn’t hard to miss.

What a show it was putting on and the closer we got, the better it was. Unfortunately due to the laws, Spirit of Gold Coast cannot stop to whale watch in the waters less than 3 miles off the beach, so it was a quick visit and on our way we went.

At 7 miles, we found another active whale.  What a day.
