Whales September 23   Leave a comment

Today was a lot quieter than what we have become used to. We did see a couple of blows and a very small fluke that we all thought to be a calf. But on reaching the area where it was spotted with it’s mother, there was no more blows to be seen. How could they just disappear, but they did!
Further out we came across a pod of two whales about 5 nautical miles off the Seaway. These two were not going anywhere in a hurry and were quite happy to do circles under and around the boat, coming very close as some of my photos will show.
